Meg Auchenbach is an illustrator, writer and educator with a B.F.A in painting and an M.F.A in Illustration. Growing up, Meg was influenced by the creative and free spirited nature of her grandmother and mother (also artists), and spent her days observing life and filling the pages of countless sketchbooks.
Meg's delicate use of line and soft color schemes create magical worlds filled with tranquil beauty and spirituality. Her work explores the relationship among humans, animals and the natural world, and wonderings about the vastness of the universe.
The artist lives and works in Pennsylvania with her husband, son, two cats, a deaf pit bull, a flock of chickens and an extremely talkative cockatiel who sings in her ear while she paints.
