Meg Auchenbach is an illustrator, writer and educator. Growing up, the artist was influenced by the flowery watercolor paintings of her grandmother and mother, and surrounded by fields filled with stray cats, birds and wildflowers.

Auchenbach's delicate use of line and soft color schemes create magical worlds filled with tranquil beauty and spirituality. Her work explores the relationship among humans, animals and the natural world, and wonderings about the vastness of the universe.

The artist lives and works in Pennsylvania with her husband, three cats, a deaf pit bull, a flock of chickens and an extremely talkative cockatiel who sings in her ear while she paints.
